Free Training Sessions NZ WideOur free training sessions will teach you how to use our website builder to build your own website or online shop. The course covers all the basics with some tips on bulk emailer, shopping carts, and search engine optimisation included. We also have advanced courses available for a small fee.
Remember there is extensive help available from our FAQ's which is backed up by phone and email support. Or there is always the option of 1 on 1 training - usually just one hours training (@$200+gst) will give you a jump start in your ability and greatly improve the results for your time and effort. Please make sure you do attend any training that you have booked for. Please invite friends along too.
Even More New Design TemplatesWe've added even more templates to our collection. We will be attempting to add a completely new section of templates to our collection every month. Please also look for the new colour variations in the layouts we made available last month. Link: Checkout the new templates
Changes to positional templatesWe have also upgraded all our positional templates. These old favourites give you a range of positional layouts where you can upload your own graphics and change background colours and menu styles until you get just the look and feel you really want. The positional templates now mostly support category menus where indicated in the screen shots. You can also fine tune the layout of a positional layout using the custom template editor. If you have previously used our positional templates, and you want to make use of these changes, then first change your "look and feel" to the appropriate new template. On the last step, please do not tick the boxes to change your banner nor colour scheme. This will keep your website looking mostly intact, while giving you access to the new customisable features. Updated DIY SEO Tips PageWe have updated our SEO tips page. The content had been extended now to 7 printed A4 pages of quality SEO tips. If you read and follow these tips, then you will definitely increase your traffic and will be fighting for the top spot. Although it may be hard to get to the top, it's really very easy to get your website higher on google. If you are not even in the top 10 results for 5 different key phrases, then you need to read these tips. You will also note that we have condensed all the SEO options of our pages and categories into one easy to use area. You will find it much faster to compare the words used on different key phrases, by scrolling down the left menu to the "Search Engine" zone.
Weight Based Shipping ImprovementShipping options can now be filtered by weight. If you use courier post 5 kg increments or similar, you can now only show the appropriate options based on the total weight of your customers purchase. Please edit your freight fees for more info.
More control over the shipping notification and invoicesYou can now more easily insert custom text into your orders/invoices, receipts and shipping notifications. This will allow you to include refund procedures and terms and conditions of sale. Or to encourage repeat business. You can now also customise a greeting message when sending the shipping notification also.
Change to our Invoice FormatWe have changed the format of our invoices ever so slightly to make it easier for you to see the payment options, and also removed any images that may have caused our invoices to end up in your spam folder.
Customising Login PagesYou can now insert headers and footers around the password protected pages. This is a great place to link to a registration form, or explain more information to your customers, like levels of service over the upcoming summer holiday period.
What's in the pipeline?You will note we are always making improvements to our CMS, and so we thought you might like to know what we currently have under development.
We will notifiy you in future newsletters once these have been completed. Please note it takes time to develop and test these items, we hope to have them all completed before years end, but please note we cannot promise anything.
