samsung allshare cast bit of a failure

So i bought a samsung blue ray player with smart share center in it soi could drive it with my samsung phone... but...

It wasnt so intuitive nor easy... despite going into each devices allshare settings, neither could see each other...

Took me lots of google research to learn that you need to press the D button for screen mirroring... only then would the devices pair...

Even then it was a bit slow and i would have to contuously re pair the devices.

In the end it seems the best i can do with it is a party trick to demo whats on my phone.. but everyone in the room gets to see me navigate and see my notifications. Otherwise i could start a youtube video... but they required the devices establish a "new connection"

Im a bit disapointed. I thought once paired my phone would be my remote. I didnt expect id have to press D on the remote before i could drive the device. I thought i might be able to go through my photos or videos on my phone and select the odd one to send to the tv... 

Bit of a failure sorry samsung...

The obvious relationship between tv and smart phone has a long way to go
