DOMAIN NAME PRICING CHANGES

Domain names have just got cheaper! The domain name commissioner has decreased the wholesale rates for domain purchases, so we have passed the savings on to you. Annual domain registration and renewal now costs $33 per year.

You can save even more by renewing or registering for three years. This costs $90 for 3 year renewals. Please contact us if you would like to register or renew for the longer term.

We are also offering new discounted prices for domain resellers who have at least 50 domains registered with us. Please contact us to request further information.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION

Has your website been live for longer than six months yet it's not getting traffic through Google search engine results? Consider Search Engine Optimisation to get a higher ranking on Google. If your website is listed in the first few pages of Google, you are more likely to get traffic than if it's nowhere to be found. Web Widgets offer a basic industry standard SEO service for a reasonably priced, page by page fee.

ICON FOR BROWSER TITLE BAR

We can now create icons for the title bar at the top of your browser. This will replace the little explorer or firefox icon and you may have seen this done on other websites. There is a new position in the design settings area of Web Widgets to upload your icon, however, the icon must conform to some very specific requirements. We can create your icon for you for between $60 and $100, depending on the use of an existing and suitable logo. Contact support@webwidgets.co.nz if you would like to know more.

VISTA

We now have Vista running on two computers at our office. It is much more stable now and anytime is a good time to purchase a new computer with it installed. Please do not purchase an upgrade for an old computer. Make sure your new computer has 2 gigs of ram for optimum performance. Although they say it will run on much less, your money is always best spent on RAM, rather than CPU/Hard disk upgrades.
